The hospital has placed a security alert on its website and on its Facebook page and is reminding everyone that the emergency is still in effect.
The news comes as the gunman who killed three people and wounded dozens of others at a Texas church in 2017 remains at large.
The Baptist Medical Centers Mississippi and the Baptist Medical Institutes of Texas have canceled their upcoming shooting dates.
Baptist Medical centers in South Carolina and Texas have already announced their events.
